Stupid. Opponent gets low no matter what.

Normal strategy in gin rummy dictates that you put together matched cards or runs, while discarding unmatched cards (high cards first) so as not to get caught with them should the opponent gin first. In this game, the opponent discards ALL cards 10 and higher, even when it already has 2 of that card or even a book of 3 of that card. Note that the opponent, in the rare occasion when it wins a hand, NEVER has a book of 3 cards 10 or higher. At the beginning of a hand, if the opponent has, for example, 2 Jacks, and you discard a Jack, the opponent NEVER picks up your Jack to make a book. Note that the opponent ALWAYS discards cards 10 or higher, even when your actions make it obvious that you are holding those cards. I see no way to change any of that in game preferences. It’s stupid, I tell ya. Stupid.
